I thought I would want to when I came back, but I'm really not that interested in the traditional school exchange. I am, however, looking at gap programs. idk, I'm a bit confused right now to be honest.

I definitely recommend a community service program with AFS if you're looking for something slightly less "traditional" but still with a comparable amount of support. :)

Any DF recommendations? It's been 2 years since I've been so I'm assuming there's some new stuff. I think I'm going to spend 2 or 3 days there. I didn't get to the Frida Kahlo house or Xochimilco last time, so those are definitely on my list.

The botanical garden at UNAM looked cool and it's also on the south side of the city. If you haven't done it already, I liked Chapultepec Castle (and you would actually be able to read the descriptions!). One thing I really wanted to do but missed (due to dead legs after Teotihuacan) was the bell tower tour at the cathedral where you get to go on the roof.

Yeah, the view from Chapultepec castle is great! I'm trying to decide if I want to stay around the Zócalo or Chapultepec this time, or maybe in Zona Rosa..

I loved the Zona Rosa. We were at the Ibis Styles, which is right by a pedestrian area and a subway stop (and a 24-hour Casa de Toño!) and a quick walk to Condesa.
